How to Access the NYT

Click on the New York Times Digital Edition link above (also listed in A to Z Databases). You will be prompted to log in with your SU network credentials (the same set you use for Hornet Hub or Canvas). After credentials are authorized, users see the following message:

Welcome to the New York Times
Your organization has provided you with an NYTimes.com Pass, which gives you complimentary access to NYTimes.com and NYT apps.*
To claim your pass, start by creating a free NYTimes.com account.

The library's subscription includes access to the New York Times Digital Edition for all faculty, staff, and students of Shenandoah University. Coverage is from 1851 to date, with some exceptions. Access to archived articles within the date range 1923 -1980 is limited to 5 articles per 24 hours once the subscription has been set up. It does not include Crosswords or the Times Insider. 

Please note: Every year subscriptions need to be re-verified using your SU network credentials.
