Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service provided exclusively for our students, faculty, and staff. If our libraries do not have an item that is needed for research, we may be able to borrow it from another library in Virginia or elsewhere in the United States. Books, scores, and copies of journal articles may be borrowed or copied from other libraries. This service is available for any item not owned by the University Libraries, or items that are missing or damaged.
To help the Interlibrary Loan staff get the resource you need, please try to request the item through our databases using a link like the one pictured below. By doing this, it will save you time and the system will populate all the particulars of the item.
THEN, you will be prompted to choose your user status and sign into library services. Use your SU email address and password.
You will be required to fill out all of the fields with an asterisk on the form. Once the request is submitted, you will receive an email when the item is available.
