The basement, or lower level, of the library can be accessed by a set of stairs or an elevator to the right when you enter the library.

There are also 5 study rooms and tables for studying. 1 of these rooms can be reserved.
Half of the basement belongs to Institutional Computing. There is a door separating the library and IT. If the door is pushed open an alarm will sound. People often need to pick up MacBooks from IT. They have to leave the building from the front door, walk around the back of the library and there is a door there they can enter.

The second floor has many study rooms available to our library patrons. Most of the rooms are available on a first come first served basis. 2 rooms on the second floor can be reserved.
In addition to the study rooms, there are study carrels and tables for studying and comfortable seating for lounging.
The second floor has a conference room available for groups to use. It can be reserved.
The Collected Editions Music Scores are in a separate room on the third floor. This room has a large standing whiteboard that can be used by students, faculty or staff. The room also has two round tables available for studying.
The third floor contains tables for studying, comfortable seating for lounging, and two study rooms.
