Music Therapy: Evidence-Based Practice

The evidence based practice (EBP) process includes 5 steps: (1) asking, (2) acquiring, (3) appraising, (4) applying, and (5) assessing.

As Murphy et al. (2020) assert, "Context is a central consideration in high-quality EBP. Decisions should always be made cognizant of the resourcing constraints that apply and the socio-cultural and geographical context."
