Scannx Book Scan Center

The first floor of Smith Library has one Scannx BookScan station, equipped with a Xerox DocuMate 6440ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), plus a large-format Context iQFlex scanner.

The Health Sciences Information Center has one Scannx BookScan station.

Users have the option to scan pages and have them sent to their email or Google Drive, shared to their phone or iPad via QR code, or saved to a portable USB drive. Pages can be scanned as PDF files or JPEG files.

The library does not have a copy machine, but the scanners can take care of your copying needs.

Lamination

The library provides a laminator and offers laminating sheets to purchase:

8.5 x 11 inches: $0.25

11 x 17 inches: $0.75

Faxing

Smith Library no longer has a fax machine and does not provide a faxing service.

Online Fax Services

HelloFax and Fax.Plus both offer one-time allotments of free pages to send. HelloFax offers five free pages, while Fax.Plus offers ten.

FaxZero's free tier enables you to send up to five faxes per day (each fax can be up to three pages and can include a cover page).
