Printing, Scanning and Faxing: Scanning and Faxing

Scanning

Scannx Book Scan Center

The first floor of Smith Library has two Scannx BookScan stations, one equipped with a Xerox DocuMate 6440ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), plus a large format Context iQFlex scanner.

The Health Sciences Information Center has one Scannx BookScan station.

Users have the option to scan pages and have them sent to their email or saved to a portable USB drive. Pages can be scanned as PDF files or JPEG files. The library does not have a copy machine, but the scanners can take care of your copying needs.

Faxing

Smith Library provides a faxing service to students for free. Faculty and staff are asked to provide a long-distance access code.

Online Fax Services

HelloFax and Fax.Plus both offer one-time allotments of free pages to send. HelloFax offers five free pages, while Fax.Plus offers ten.

FaxZero's free tier enables you to send up to five faxes per day (each fax can be up to three pages and can include a cover page).
