We no longer collect overdue late fees on books, CDs, DVDs, and music scores.
Overdue MacBooks, chargers, and other computer peripherals will accrue late charges at $5.00 per day. These items may only be loaned to SU students, faculty and staff.
Materials more than four months overdue will be considered lost, and the user will be billed for replacement of the item. The cost of replacement will include a $20 processing fee, plus the actual cost of the item.
Library users may pay for lost items by cash and check. Students, faculty and staff are also able to pay by credit card. Credit card payments must be made at Hornet Central and there is a 1.5% convenience fee. Students, faculty and staff must present a copy of their bill to Hornet Central in order to make the payment.
