Troubleshooting Access to E-Resources: Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service provided exclusively for our students, faculty, and staff. If our libraries do not have an item that is needed for research, we may be able to borrow it from another library in Virginia or elsewhere in the United States. Books, scores, and copies of journal articles may be borrowed or copied from other libraries. This service is available for any item not owned by the University Libraries, or items that are missing or damaged.

To help the Interlibrary Loan staff get the resource you need, please try to request the item through our databases. You will see a link like the one below. By doing this, it will save you time and the system will populate all the particulars of the item. The link to do this will look something like this:

THEN, you will be prompted to sign into library services. Please use your SU Net/Canvas/Hornet Hub credentials and choose LDAP.

You will be required to fill out all the spots with an asterisk on the form. Once the request is submitted, you will receive an email when the item is available.
