Do I Get the Journal Article I Need?
Look
up the journal title in the SU Library’s Journal Locator.

From the Library’s homepage www.su.edu/library, click
the link to Journal Locator, and search the journal by its title.
·
Look carefully at the years of the journal
held by the Library.
Journal Article – Held by
Library
·
If the journal is held by SU Library you will
see a link for SU Journal Collection, follow
that link to see if we have the journal in print or microfilm.
·
If the year and issue of the journal are
noted as being available full text online, go the database or website given.
·
If you need a password to access the online
journal, contact a Librarian for assistance. Or, you can go to Blackboard and in the Library tab select Library Passwords..
Journal Article –
Interlibrary Loan

If the journal title or the year and issue of
a journal are not held by the Library, you may request that a copy of the
journal article be sent to you from another library through the Interlibrary
Loan process.
· From the Library homepage, click the link to Interlibrary Loan. Select Journal Article Delivery Form.

Fill out the form and submit.
·
Please remember to give the complete
information including page numbers.
·
The article will be shipped to the Library,
then you will receive an e-mail telling
you to come and pick it up. If the
Library receives the document as an attachment to an e-mail we will forward
that e-mail to you.
·
If you are an off campus students and we
receive the document in paper, we will mail it to you when we receive it.

If you are an off campus students and would
like an article held at the Library in print or microfilm use the following
steps. From the Library homepage, select Interlibrary Loan and then Journal
Article Delivery Form, complete the form and submit it and the article will be
sent to you.
